1. Ensure that the Java Runtime Environment is installed
The Modeller 2 software requires that the Java Runtime Environment is installed on your system. Some Windows computers have this installed by default. Others, including Windows 2000 Professional and Windows NT, do not. If you are unsure if the Java Runtime Environment is installed on your computer, please download a recent version from the Sun Microsystems homepage: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/. The download is free of charge.
2. Ensure that the DYRESM CAEDYM is properly installed
Modeller 2 is a graphical user interface for the models DYRESM and DYRESM-CAEDYM but does not include the models themselves. The model executables can be downloaded and installed by following the instructions on this webpage. Carefully follow the instructions given.
3. Download and run the Modeller 2 installation program
Download DYRESM-CAEDYM and run the self-extracting file. Locate the Windows Modeller 2 installer installer from the downloaded files. Double click the installer file and follow the installation instructions. To run the software, click of the Modeller 2 icon on the desktop, start menu or installation directory.
